Early morning drive to Derby and the Prison Boab Tree, then onto the Gibb River Road to explore Tunnel Creek. Camp at Windjana Gorge.
Take an early morning walk with the chance to spot a freshwater crocodile before travelling to Silent Grove and onto Bells Gorge.Days 3 & 4: Silent Grove - Galvins - Manning Gorge -
Jacks Waterhole - El Questro
Travel along the Gibb River beef transport road before arriving at
Mt Barnett station. Stop in at Jacks Waterhole on the Durack River for a swim and lunch before crossing the Pentecost River and through El Questro cattle station to Emma Gorge.Days 5 & 6: Emma Gorge - Kununurra
Experience the tropical feeling of the Kimberley gorge before arriving in Kununurra where the next day can be spent on optional tours.Days 7 & 8: Kununurra - Victoria River - Katherine - Darwin
Cross a different time zone into the Northern Territory, continue via Timber Creek and Victoria River to the town of Katherine and onto Nitmiluk National Park (optional morning cruise or canoe hire in Katherine Gorge).
