Journey to the Snowy River and Errinundra National Parks
5 days/4 nights - Melbourne to MelbourneTwo fully guided and supported camping and walking expeditions visiting the region of south-eastern Australia. Rugged mountain ranges, deep and pure rivers and dense rainforest with Naturalist guides providing a comprehensive overview of both environmental and of Aboriginal cultural aspects.
EXPEDITION # 3
Comprehensive Wildlife Research Expedition
3.5 days/3 nights - Melbourne to MelbourneEG1 and EG2 are vehicle supported B&B and camp based expeditions to the dramatic south-east region of Australia, an area of rugged mountains, pure rivers, dense forest and pristine ocean beaches. EG3 investigates the region’s abundant fauna and flora. Expert naturalist guides lead all three journeys.
Expert naturalist guides lead the walks. Most walks feature a base camp at Point Hicks the place where Captain Cook first sighted Australia in 1770 and it has changed little since that time. Point Hicks is also the site of one of southern Australia’s most significant Aboriginal campsites.
Accommodation is exciting including B&B’s, 4 star base camps and lodges. Meals are sumptuous with wine served at base camps. Showers and toilets are also provided at base camps. Tours are vehicle supported. Detailed trip notes and maps are provided upon booking.
