Top of Queensland Hiking Adventure
Grade: Moderate to DifficultDay 1: Walk through lush virgin tropical rainforest, giant trees and strangler vines. After lunch continue to the Summit of Mount Bartle Frere (Queensland’s highest mountain). Experience top food, fun and adventure in the wilderness. At the summit take in the vista overlooking the coast and Great Barrier Reef islands, the camp is located close by. Hammock or Tent
Day 2: An early walk back to the summit to watch the sunrise over the ocean followed by breakfast. On the return journey your experienced guide will explain the intricacies of the rainforest environment. Late return to Cairns.
DEPARTURES: All year every Tuesday at 6.00am
