Itinerary will vary from
November to May according to seasonal conditions and closure of Twin
and Jim Jim Falls. All attractions will be substituted with others of
equal value.
Day 1:
Arrive Darwin. On arrival you will be met by our
representative and taken to your hotel Saville Park Suites. The
remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day
2: Travel to Fogg Dam Nature Reserve and see a menagerie of
birdllife, snakes and other reptiles. Next call in at “Window on the
Wetlands” and Annaburroo before arriving at Point Stuart Wilderness
Lodge for lunch and a monsoonal vine forest walk. Enjoy an afternoon
crocodile/wildlife cruise on the Mary River Wetlands before settling
down for our overnight camp at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge. (LD)
Day 3:
This morning we travel to the awesome Jim Jim Falls located deep
within striking escarpment country, where we walk to the base of the
falls enjoying the peace and tranquility of this beautiful area. After
lunch, we head to Twin Falls (only able to be accessed by swimming) to
swim under the cascading waterfall, explore and sunbake on the sandy
bank before heading for our permanent campsite in Kakadu. (BLD)
Day 4:
Early start for Nourlangie Rock, where vivid rock depicting dreamtime
beliefs dating back an estimated 20 000 years can be explored. After
lunch, we view more Aboriginal rock art at Ubirr, where there are also
spectacular views across the wetlands. Savouring the impressive
scenery, we journey back to Darwin. (BL)
Day 5:
Day at leisure until you transfer to the airport for your onward
journey.
• Tour includes: All meals,
motel transfers, camping equipment and fees, meal at end of safari,
experienced guide.
• Itinerary may alter depending on season
• Park entry fee is additional

- Comfortable but sturdy
walking shoes
- Swimming gear, towel,
toiletries
- Sunblock & Insect
Repellent
- Warm clothes in winter
season and a wide brimmed hat
Please Note: Sites have full
shower and toilet facilities, and refrigeration to keep all food items
fresh.
